Have you guys seen these yet? He’s done other great renditions of Luigi, Wario and Bowser, found it linked through some crazy street art blog. It brings to mind the old process, dressing up someone’s older idea pretty, the revamping, how these concepts morph and develop. I love it. But could Nintendo ever sue for some sort of intellectual property rights? There are really lawsuits like that, right? I remember Bill Cosby’s legal people shutting down the monumentally hilarious “House of Cosby’s” on Channel 101, which thankfully in defiance has continued to host the episodes here. I shall continue the pattern and let this inspire me to genre-blend.
There’s also this all-too-familiar short live-action film with a similar idea out there , I tried checking the dates to see which perhaps inspired the other with no results.
